Psychologist
Welcome to my studio office where I use
clay to enhance the therapy experience.
Is your child facing challenges related to school, family, medical concerns, or social/emotional difficulties?
Does your child struggle to pay attention or focus on tasks, particularly in settings that require calm and concentration or find it challenging to channel their excess energy?
Does your child exhibit anxiety or worries that disrupt their ability to participate in age-appropriate activities?
Is your child easily frustrated, lacks self control or experiences intense emotions finding it difficult to calm down?
Do you notice signs of sadness, loneliness, or a lack of self confidence in your child?
Life can present various stressors, and during such times, we all need support from understanding and non-judgmental individuals to help us navigate through difficult situations. My therapy services aim to provide a range of tools to cope with problematic behavior and uncomfortable emotions effectively.
With over 25 years of experience as a licensed psychologist specializing in clinical child and family therapy, I offer a unique blend of expertise and passion for working with children and young adults across diverse settings. I am not only a therapist but also a ceramic artist and teacher, further enhancing my ability to connect with individuals in a nurturing and creative manner.
My therapeutic approach emphasizes the power of connection, meaningful conversations, and a variety of behavioral techniques to address client concerns. I understand that talking to an unfamiliar helping professional can be challenging, especially for children. To ensure a comfortable and engaging experience, I incorporate art materials (particularly clay) as a means to open up channels of communication and initiate the healing and transformative process.
